Montefiore Hill is a small hill in
North Adelaide,
South Australia. It offers a vantage point over the
Central Business District and is said to be where surveyor-general
William Light stood in 1837 and pointed at what would one day become the city of
Adelaide.
Behind this statue is
Aquinas College, which is affiliated to the
University of Adelaide.
